Second Arrest In Kitchener Homicide

Waterloo Regional Police have made a second arrest in connection to a homicide investigation in Kitchener last month.

21-year old Kadeem Anthony Gabriel of Kitchener was arrested in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Tuesday night in connection to the shooting of Adam Jones in early September.

Police say Gabriel is facing first degree murder charges and is set to appear in a Kitchener courtroom later today.

Investigators had previously arrested 20-year old Jerome Dominque Phillips of Kitchener. He’s charged with accessory after the fact and remains in police custody.

The 25-year old Jones was shot in a parking lot near Belmont and Gage on the night of September 6th.
