Police swooped down on a home in south Kitchener to execute a search warrant last night.

Police say two people were arrested at the residence on Mountain Laurel Crescent home, near Bleams Road.  

Police say they were targeting a suspected marijuana grow operation.

Officers hauled away $8,000 in suspected drugs.
