A squirrel was responsible for a brief power outage this morning in Kitchener.

Power was out in the Homer Watson and Highway 7/8 area for over a half hour.

The squirrel got on a line, causing a pole fire.

One apartment on Kehl Street is still without hydro and will be for a few hours.
