McGuinty visits Kitchener

Premier Dalton McGuinty is going to be busy calling byelections.
Now that veteran Liberal MPP Greg Sorbara announced he’s stepping away from the provincial legislature that leaves two vacant seats, Vaughn and Kitchener-Waterloo.
570 News has learned the byelections will be held the same day but the Premier will not reveal when. He’ll only say they won’t be in the summer but sooner rather than later.
Premier McGuinty will be in Kitchener on Thursday to visit the newly renovated St. John’s School.
We have also learned a byelection announcement is not expected to be made today.
