Security takes centre stage at London 2012

LONDON, England – With the official start of the London 2012 Olympic Games just a day away, security is even more front and centre.

An additional 1,200 soldiers have been brought in to help with security during the 2012 Games, bringing the total to 19,000 soldiers, 12,000 police officers and 7,000 security guards.
