A Guelph woman who played an active part in the vandalism that rocked Toronto during the G20 summit two years ago is to be sentenced today.
Kelly Pflug-Back was among dozens of protesters who used black bloc tactics in a window-smashing rampage through downtown Toronto in June 2010.
Pflug-Back, who pleaded guilty to seven counts of mischief and one of wearing a disguise with criminal intent, has asked for a sentence that won’t interfere with her schooling.
The defence has pressed for a conditional sentence, while the Crown urged the judge to sentence Pflug-Back to up to two years.
