A 25-year-old man faces a variety of charges following a bizarre break and enter in Kitchener.
Regional Police say they responded to a report of a break-in on Belton Drive early yesterday.
Police say the suspect had fled, but during a search with the canine unit they found a ‘significant” amount of marijuana and cash on the ground.
Police say a nearby resident then contacted them after spotting a partially clothed man on his deck.
The resident, armed with a broom, chased the man away but he was arrested a short time later.
Charges include trespassing by night, mischief and possession of a controlled substance.
