Tori Stafford’s family had their chance to face Michael Rafferty in a London courtroom on Tuesday.

The 8-year-old girl’s mother, Tara McDonald was first to read, saying her entire life was destroyed the day her little girl was killed. Rodney Stafford, Tori’s dad, spoke about the impact this has had on his son Darryn, saying he sees the void in all his family members eyes.
Tori’s Uncle told Rafferty today…..”your time is just beginning”.
A jury found Michael Rafferty guilty Friday night of first degree murder, sexual assault causing bodily harm, and kidnapping.
Justice Thomas Heeney has sentenced Michael Rafferty to 25 years in prison with no chance of parole until May 19, 2034. The other charges, kidnapping and sexual assault, will carry 10 year sentences each.
Justice Heeney says the charges will be served concurrently.
The trial is officially over.
