Compass Kitchener launches The Who Are You Kitchener? campaign today.
The series of scheduled events are a follow up of a survey held by the Environics Research Group. The survey determined the priorities of Kitchener residents.
Shelley Adams, director of community and corporate planning tells 570 News, the events aim to generate discussion. The city hopes residents of all ages will come out to the coffee houses, workshops and meetings and voice their opinions.
Young people are among those being targeted in the campaign. Adams says it’s important to find out what tomorrow’s leaders want Kitchener to be like down the road.
Who Are You Kitchener? will run until May 5th. Tonight, residents are invited to take part in a one-on-one discussion being held in the Aud Lobby during the Rangers Game. Via Rail, and The Kitchener Market are also holding events.
