Sex assault in Kitchener

Police are appealing for information in a sex assault investigation.
They say a 23-year-old woman was assaulted in a residence on Dekay Street in Kitchener around 3 o’clock this morning.
Police say a man entered the home, assaulted the victim, then fled in a pick up truck.
Investigators do not believe the victim and attacker are known to each other.
The suspect is described as white, between 5 “6” and 5 “9”, in his late 20’s, with a medium to heavy build, short dark hair and stubble.
Police are reminding residents to make sure their homes are locked at night.
