Election 2019: 100 days out, what do we know?

By Jordan Heath-Rawlings

In today’s Big Story podcast, elections take forever, and then they sneak up on you. There are fewer than 100 days until Canada votes on Oct. 21, and the polls show a near tie between the Liberals and Conservatives. Those same polls predicted a firm Liberal second term in 2018, and had the Conservatives near a majority earlier this year.

So what do we actually know about this coming campaign? Where do we stand, and what happens next? What role will climate change play? Do people still care about the SNC-Lavalin scandal? And did Jagmeet Singh already blow his chance to make a dent?
