Grains mostly lower, Grains higher

CHICAGO — Grain futures were mostlt lower Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery was rose 5.20 cents at $5.2160 a bushel; Dec. corn was was off .40 cent at $3.7360 a bushel; Dec. oats fell 7.60 cents at $2.8440 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans lost 2.60 cents at 9.14 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec.live cattle was up .15 cent at $1.1755 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle was gained 1.67 cents at $1.4512 a pound; Dec. lean hogs rose .20 cent at .5472 a pound.
