“What do you like? What could be better?” Customer service campaign launching in Kitchener

It’s the chance to give city staff your two cents – as Kitchener is launching a customer service campaign over the summer months.

Jana Miller is Director of Customer Service with the City of Kitchener and explains.

“Our whole reason for being as an organization is to provide great service to citizens – and we take a lot of pride in that. We know there are things we’re doing well, and we know there’s work to be done to improve some things. The check-in we’re doing this summer is really with people who use our services every day, and we want to know how we can make it better and easier.”

Miller adds there are three ways you can participate.

“We have an online survey available through our Engage Kitchener platform – the easiest way to reach it is to go to www.kitchener.ca and type in Customer Service in the search bar. We also have street teams that will be at city events and city facilities, like pools and community centres, and they’ll be set-up at those places all summer long starting on Neighbours Day. The last way will be closer to fall – once we begin to understand the themes and feedback, we’ll be hosting focus groups to dig deeper.”

You can also phone in your feedback by leaving a message with City Staff at 519-741-2200 ext. 7800.
