Record high Lotto Max prize up for grabs

A record-breaking $106 million in prizing with Lotto Max was announced Thursday.
Friday’s Lotto Max jackpot is an estimated $60 million cash prize, with an estimated 46 additional and separate Maxmillions prizes worth $1 million each.
“We are so excited,” says OLG spokesperson Dita Kuhtey. “We love when we get to offer our players such exciting jackpots. We definitely see sales rise, when we have a $60 million jackpot — people love to dream about winning that amount.”
She said the odds for the jackpot prize are 1 in 28.6 million, but there is still a 1 in 6.6 chance for any prize.
“Those Maxmillions give you extra chances to win with just one ticket … We are always happy to be able to award those extra Maxmillions prizes so we can change lots of lives,” she says.
If no one wins on Friday, another record-high prize could be broken with more Maxmillions being offered.
