With ION vehicle testing in full swing, it may have you thinking about what it takes to be a LRT driver.
Well you’re in luck – as the company in charge of hiring is looking for 39 local candidates to do just that!
Ian Cushion is General Manager of Keonis North America.
He tells the Jennifer Campbell Show there are some base qualifications that they’re looking for.
“You need to have about 5 years driving experience, a clean G-class driver licence, high school diploma or equivalent, and very good communication skills.”
You can head online to complete an application, but you’ll want to act fast.
Cushion says since opening Tuesday morning, there have been over 800 resumes submitted.
The posting will close in about four weeks time, and the assessment and hiring process will then begin.
