A 17-year-old faces a slew of charges in connection with a hit and run in Guelph late Monday night.
Police were called to a gas station on Silvercreek Parkway after a Nissan was spotted doing some dangerous maneuvers, and ended up crashing into a pick-up truck.
Officers arrived and confronted the driver, who allegedly gave a fake name, before handing over his actual I-D, and running away from the scene.
Because of the correct identification, police were able to track down a suspect, but his name is being withheld under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
He faces charges including dangerous driving and obstructing police.
