It’s the most wonderful time of the year for comic book fans!
Saturday is Free Comic Book Day – meaning you can head to your local shop for sweet deals, special edition books, and some superhero-themed events.
Carry-On Comics in Waterloo is open until 6 p.m., and they say you’ll want to head there early to get the best selection.
In Guelph, The Dragon is giving away five free comics to everyone that stops by – and you’ll get another five if you spend ten bucks. There will also be face-painting and some costumed guests, and the store is open until 6 p.m.
Staff at the comic book shop in downtown Kitchener also going above and beyond for the occasion, pushing the free fun into Sunday.
Lookin’ For Heroes is hosting a special two-day event. Its open until 5:30 p.m., on Saturday – and again from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., on Sunday.
