WRPS release video, images of break and enter suspect

Regional Police are on the hunt for a suspect after a break and enter at a Kitchener home.

Police say it happened in the Jansen and Huber Street area, sometime in the early morning hours of Monday, April 30.

A male suspect entered the home through an open garage and unlocked interior door, and took off with multiple electronics.

Police believe the same man attempted to break into other homes in the same neighbourhood, but was unsuccessful.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s. He’s approximately 5’7″, and has a thin build.

Anyone with information on the break and enter is urged to contact WRPS or Crime Stoppers – and police are reminding homeowners to lock their doors and garages to help prevent these crimes.
