The United Way Waterloo Region Communities came together with the community last night to celebrate its new union.
The United Way W.R.C. wanted to give thanks and hand out hardware to those making a difference in the community.
The event was held at the new Gaslight District space in Cambridge.
The Spirit of Community winner is John Neufeld with House of Friendship.
Norma Macdonald Ewing took home the Outstanding Volunteer Award.
Lackner Mclennan Insurance and Erb & Erb Insurance Brokers were honoured for the Small Workplace Campaign Award.
The Outstanding Workplace Campaign Award for a Large Employer was handed out to KPMG.
Peak Realty won the Rising Star Award.
Regional Chair Ken Seiling was the recipient of the first ever Community Leader Award.
