Regional Police investigating after man picks up infant and starts to walk away

Regional Police are investigating after a couple say their infant child was picked up by an unknown man.
It happened yesterday evening around 6:00 p.m. in the Area of Weber Street and Queen Street.
Police say the couple was waiting for a bus with their 10-month-old playing in a nearby snow bank.
That’s when Police say a man picked up the infant and was about to walk away before he was confronted by the mother.
The mother had to pull the child from the man’s arms.
The suspect is described as a black male between 6’0 and 6’3 weighing between 160 and 170 pounds.
