9 players from local teams taken in 2018 OHL Draft

Seven players from the Cambridge Hawks were selected in the 2018 OHL Draft on Saturday, while two were drafted from the Waterloo Wolves. No Kitchener Jr. Rangers were taken.

 

-Joseph Serpa (centre) with the Cambridge Hawks was drafted in the fourth round (77th overall) by the Kitchener Rangers

 

-Cooper Walker (centre) with the Cambridge Hawks was a fifth round pick (91st overall) by the Guelph StormĀ 

 

-Ben McFarlane (winger) with the Cambridge Hawks was selected in the sixth round (107th overall) by the Guelph Storm

 

-Mathias Onuska (goalie) of the Waterloo Wolves was drafted in the seventh round (133rd overall) by the Kingston Frontenacs

 

-Peyton Adams-Matthews (defence) of Cambridge Hawks was a ninth round selection (177th overall) of the Kitchener Rangers

 

-Eli Palfreyman (centre) with the Cambridge Hawks was taken in the 12th round (223rd overall) by the Peterborough Petes

 

-Aaron Davidson (winger) of Cambridge Hawks selected in 12th round (235th overall) by the Owen Sound Attack

 

-Reid Oliver (defence) with the Waterloo Wolves was drafted in the 14th round (274th overall) by the Barrie Colts

 

-Keegan McMullen (winger) with the Cambridge Hawks was a 15th round pick (300th overall) by the Peterborough Petes
