Man allegedly pulls knife on grocery store employees in Waterloo

A shoplifting call at a Sobeys in Waterloo nearly turned much worse after the suspect pulled a knife on some employees.
The incident happened Thursday around 2:30 p.m. at the Sobeys on Bridgeport and Weber.
Police say employees saw a suspect taking stolen goods to his car.
When the employees confronted the man he pulled a knife.
There were no injuries, the suspect fled the scene and remains at large.
