Plasticity attempts to set record for world’s biggest gratitude wall

A local tech company wants to set a world record today, and it would be pretty grateful if you took part.

Plasticity is marking International Happiness Day by expanding its Gratitude Wall in a big way.

It’s inviting residents to visit their space at The Tannery in downtown Kitchener.

Elementary students and tech neighbours are busing in and popping by to post their sticky notes saying what they are grateful for.

CEO Jim Moss tells The Jennifer Campbell Show that when we record this for a few days, it serves as a micro-meditation. Moss says it nudges our brain’s pattern of thinking to be more grateful. He says eventually this becomes habitual and then we bare more gracious.

The Kitchener company is hoping to break a World Record for the biggest gratitude wall ever built.

The attempt goes until 6 p.m., Tuesday.

On Twitter, you can use the hashtag #GratitudeWR.
