It’s the final day of the OHL regular season, and it’s still a three-team battle for the final three playoff spots in the West.
More importantly, it’s a battle to see who finishes seventh and matched up with the Kitchener Rangers in the first round of the playoffs.
The Windsor Spitfires are home to Saginaw, Sunday afternoon.
A Windsor win in any fashion means Kitchener faces Guelph next weekend.
If Saginaw wins in regulation, the Spirit would fall into seventh place to face the Rangers.
And a Spirit win in overtime or a shootout means a three-way tie in the standings, and the math would favour Guelph falling into seventh.
