Rangers wrap up regular season at home to Guelph

The Kitchener Rangers can end the season with 44 wins.

Kitchener hosts the Storm in their final game of the regular season on Friday. 570 NEWS has the pre-game show at 7 p.m.

The Rangers already have the Battle of Highway 7 wrapped up with a record of 5-1 and 1. Guelph won the most recent meeting 4-3 in overtime at the Sleeman Centre on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Kitchener lost in a shootout to the Sting in Sarnia.

As of now, Kitchener would face Windsor in the first round of the playoffs, but they could still end up playing Guelph. Their opponent won’t be finalized until the weekend.

The Rangers will host Game 1 on Friday, March 23rd at 7:30 p.m. Game 2 is scheduled for Sunday, March 25th at 7 p.m.
