Rangers wrap up home stand against Generals

The Kitchener Rangers have just eight regular season games left to go.

On Friday, they host Oshawa as the Rangers close out a four game home stand. 570 NEWS has the pre-game show at 7 p.m.

Kitchener is 2 and 1, with wins over Sudbury and Sarnia. The only loss came at the hands of the Ottawa 67’s.

The Generals have yet to clinch a playoff spot, but are currently holding down fifth place in the Eastern Conference. They have won five in a row.

The Gens edged Kitchener 2-1 in the first meeting of the season between the two clubs back in October.

The Rangers also skate in Guelph on Sunday afternoon. Kitchener and Guelph could meet in the first round of the playoffs.
