Guelph Police say a wanted suspect was arrested with $10,000 of drugs on her

A Guelph woman has found out the hard way that if you’re wanted for arrest, don’t walk around in public with almost $10,000 worth of drugs.

Police in Guelph say a 28-year old woman wanted on outstanding charges was spotted by officers on York Road yesterday morning.

She was arrested on charges of utter forged documents; fraud under $5000; and possession of stolen property.

But police say she allegedly had $9,700s of drugs on her person, including crystal meth, cocaine, heroin, and cannabis.

Now she’s facing four counts of drug trafficking on top of the other offences.

Her name is not being released.

She was being held for a bail hearing.
