Kitchener Rangers defenceman Logan Stanley has been suspended for two games.
The 6’7″ blueliner was handed a five-minute major penalty plus game misconduct for head-checking versus Niagara on Tuesday.
That means Stanley will not be available for the next two games versus Hamilton and Mississauga.
Meantime, the Rangers got a night off on Friday, after their home game against the Sarnia Sting was cancelled due to weather. The contest has been postponed until Tuesday February 27, at 7 p.m.
The Blueshirts visit the beasts of the Eastern Conference, the Hamilton Bulldogs, Saturday afternoon.
The Rangers have won nine of their last 10, including a 4-3 victory over those Bulldogs last Friday.
