Group of kids approached by suspicious couple in St. Marys: OPP

Perth County OPP are investigating after a concerning incident involving children in the Town of St. Marys.
Constable Laura Lee Brown says a suspicious vehicle was spotted in the Elgin and Huron Street area on January 30.
“It was sometime between 6 and 6:40 p.m. – at that time, the vehicle was described as a dark four-door car, containing an unknown male and a female.”
There is a description available – although it is brief.
“The description at this point is the vehicle is a dark-coloured four-door car – and the male involved is described as having a thick accent.”
Brown says if you ever spot anything suspicious – contact them immediately.
“As soon as possible, rather than waiting a significant amount of time. The incidents can usually be explained – and sometimes, things aren’t always as they appear. So the earlier a suspicious vehicle or person is reported, the earlier we can investigate.”
