Special weather statement ends for Waterloo Region

It’ll be a wet and rainy Saturday for anyone attending one of our local Santa Claus parades.

Environment Canada had issued a special weather statement for Waterloo Region and our surrounding areas, warning of heavy rainfall overnight Friday and into Saturday.

The national weather authority ended the statement early Saturday morning.

We’ll still see some rain today though for the parades, and flurries are expected overnight as well.
