Pair from Kitchener face drug, weapon charges after bust at Woodstock hotel

Regional Police say a pair from Kitchener face a number of drug and weapon charges after a bust in Woodstock.
Officers were working with Woodstock Police as part of an ongoing investigation, and say the locals were ultimately tracked down and arrested at a hotel on Bruin Boulevard on Wednesday.
The 20-year-old woman and 30-year-old man were both wanted on outstanding warrants, and were found to be in possession of a number drugs including meth and suspected fentanyl.
The two also had numerous weapons including firearms, bear spray, and brass knuckles.
Police say they’re being held in custody for bail hearings, and face numerous charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of prohibited weapons.
