Rangers hope to extend winning streak tonight against the Storm

The Highway 7 rivalry heats back up tonight at the Aud.

The Kitchener Rangers host the Guelph Storm.

The Rangers are tops in the Midwest Division, while Guelph is 3rd – just 3 points back with a game in hand.

Kitchener is riding a two game winning streak, including an impressive 7-3 victory over the Otters on Wednesday.

That seven goal outburst was more than they scored in their previous 4 games combined.

As for the Storm, they are coming off a 4-0 win over London this past Sunday, and in their only game so far this season against Kitchener, Guelph posted a 5-2 win.

They’ll play a total of eight games against each other this regular season.

Tonight’s contest is Kitchener’s only game this weekend.

570 News has tonight’s game, with Mike Farwell and Chris Pope, beginning with the pregame at 7 o’clock.
