The OPP say the subject of a manhunt in Listowel on Monday is still on the loose, and they’re releasing more information about him.
33-year-old Kyle Moore has been identified as the suspect and a warrant for his arrest has been issued. He is wanted for assaulting a police officer in Wingham, stealing his police cruiser, and crashing it in Listowel.
Police say Moore had tried to steal an ATV from a business in Zurich early Monday morning, and then was spotted stealing a pick-up truck.
He was in that truck when he was pulled over in Wingham. In total, Moore is facing a dozen criminal code offences from Monday’s manhunt.
The OPP say Moore is also wanted by police in Sarnia on charges that include Resisting a Police Officer in July.
Moore has ties to Huron, Perth, Lambton, Wellington and Bruce counties.
Police say if you see him, do not approach him — just call police or Crime Stoppers right away.
