Police investigating after man chases young girl in Guelph

Police are investigating after a concerning incident involving a young girl in Guelph.

Guelph Police say a girl was walking alone to school in the Pinch Park area early Tuesday morning, when a man started running towards her.

She tried to get away, but the man began chasing her.

Luckily, the girl made it to St. Ignatius school, and police were called.

The man is described as white, around 50 years old, and has grey hair in a “buzz cut/shaggy mushroom cut” style. He was last seen wearing black dress pants, a grey short-sleeved shirt with white stripes, and black dress shoes.
