One suspect at large, eight locals charged after shootings in Vaughan

One suspect is still at large, and eight others from Waterloo Region have been arrested and charged for alleged shootings in Vaughan.

Both incidents happened at the same residence on Mellings Drive on June 12th and August 7th.

York Regional Police say their ages range from 19 to 32 years old.

As a result of a joint investigation by YRPS, Peel Regional Police, and Waterloo Regional Police, they’ve laid more than 50 firearm and drug-related charges.

In both incidents, the front door and garage door at the residence had bullet holes in them.

No one was hurt in both incidents, police say.

The investigation is on-going, and police are asking 21-year-old Evan Bradley Allan from Kitchener to get a lawyer and turn himself in.

Constable Laura Nicolle says Allan may be armed, and dangerous.

“On the other end of that, we do believe that these were targeted incidents. So on that end, obviously it’s a high priority to find this individual, but we are asking people not to approach him. They should contact police immediately.”

Nicolle adds that there is no current photo, or description available for Allan.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call York Regional Police or Crime Stoppers.
