An 11-year officer with Provincial Police has been charged after a crash in the Township of Erin.

Wellington County OPP say they were called to the intersection of County Road 22 and Concession 10 on Monday after a crash involving an OPP cruiser.

Through an investigation, they determined the officer had failed to stop at the intersection, and ultimately rammed into an incoming vehicle.

Police say neither driver was injured as a result of the crash.

OPP Constable Sukhvinder Toor has been charged with disobeying a stop sign.
