A busy stretch of road through Guelph was shut down Wednesday after a serious crash.
Police say the collision happened around 4 p.m. Wednesday on Woodlawn Road between County Road 32 and Michener Road.
Police say a vehicle ended up slamming into a hydro pole, and minor injuries were sustained.
Damage to the vehicle is estimated around $25,000.
Highway 7/Woodlawn Road was shut down between Road 32 and Michener as hydro wires were sitting across the highway.
Police re-opened the roadway around 1:30 a.m Thursday morning.
Police say the driver was charged with Careless Driving.
