Cambridge Hospital gets nearly $1-million for repairs and upgrades

A big boost for Cambridge Memorial Hospital.

MPP Kathryn McGarry announced Tuesday that the local hospital will receive $978,068 from the provincial government to revitalize its facilities with repairs and upgrades.

The money is part of our provincial government’s commitment to investing in health care facilities.

In total, they’re handing out $175 million to 131 Ontario hospitals this year.

In a release, Minister of Health and Long-Term Care Dr. Eric Hoskins says “these repairs and upgrades are crucial to ensuring all patients get the help they need now and in the future. By upgrading our hospitals’ infrastructure, we are helping Ontarians get the best health care close to home.”
