Canada Day long weekend, what’s open, what’s closed

It’s the Canada Day long weekend and that means a number of closures and service disruptions.
Waterloo Region’s big malls – Fairview Park, Conestoga and Cambridge Centre – will be closed Canada Day.
If you are planning to go shopping some businesses will be open in St. Jacobs.
All outlets of The Beer Store in our area are closed Canada Day, but some will be open in the Toronto and Ottawa areas.
LCBO stores are all closed Canada Day.
Grand River Transit will be operating on a Sunday schedule with modified Saturday service on Route 21 Elmira.
Most municipal services are closed Canada Day and Monday.
