PM Trudeau taps keg at Oktoberfest opening ceremony in Kitchener

Oktoberfest officially kicks off in Kitchener on Friday morning and there will be a very special guest tapping the keg.

MP Marwan Tabbara announced Thursday that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will join in on the Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest festivities and will be tapping the keg at Kitchener City Hall in Carl Zehr Square.

This is the 48th year for K-W Oktoberfest and Trudeau and Premier Kathleen Wynne will join Mayor Berry Vrbanovic, Regional Chair Ken Seiling and KW Oktoberfest President Alfred Lowrick to kick-off the festivities.
