Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath makes a swing through the area today with a couple of hot button issues on her agenda.
She’ll start her day meeting with a Waterloo resident at 10am talking about how her hydro bills are affecting her.
Just this week, the province announced changes to its green energy policy.
They’ll be joined by Kitchener-Waterloo MPP Catherine Fife.
Horwath is then off to Guelph where she’ll hold a roundtable with residents at 10 Carden on the issue of water taking.
That’s at 1:30pm.
Guelph-Wellington has been embroiled in a debate centring on Nestle’s operations in the area.
