A Waterloo tech company is helping the relief effort in Ecuador.
This after a magnitude 7.8 earthquake shocked the South American country last week.
Aeryon Labs is working with Global Medic, an international disaster relief organization, to map the damage of Ecuador’s hardest-hit areas.
The company uses drones for overhead footage.
Aeryon’s drones have also been used by local police for crash investigations and to help search for missing people.
