Rain raising flooding concerns

We’re saying bye to the snow, thanks to all the rain Thursday morning.

But, we’re also saying hello to higher water levels on local rivers, streams and creeks.

Meantime, a state of emergency in the Township of Chatsworth remains in effect until at least Friday.

Flooding in Williamsford and the McCullough Lake area last weekend forced people from their homes.

As many as 20 properties in Williamsford are damaged and about 40 around the lake.

Chatsworth is south of Owen Sound.
