More gold for Kitchener boxer Mandy Bujold

Kitchener boxer Mandy Bujold won another gold medal over the weekend.

Bujold defeated Brazil’s Clelia Costa by a 3-0 unanimous decision to win the title in the 51-kilogram weight class at the Jose Cheo Aponte tournament in Puerto Rico.

Costa is the number two ranked boxer in that division, Bujold is ranked 19th.

Bujold will now start training for the Pan Am Games qualifier set for early June.
