Provincial police say a 48-year-old Waterloo man is facing 11 charges after allegedly trying to run down officers with a snowmobile.
Police say the incident occurred last Friday when officers were called to a restaurant on Highway 6 outside Mount Forest and the driver fled when asked to show his licence.
The O-P-P say the man was found on a nearby trail and allegedly drove at officers and yelled obscenities and death threats at them.
Police say the snowmobile eventually became stuck in a large snowbank and officers were able to arrest the man after a brief struggle.
