Two injured after plane crash outside of Guelph

Two people suffered minor injuries this afternoon after a small airplane they were flying in crashed into a field just outside of Guelph.

OPP were called to the crash site at Wellington Road 16 and Highway 89 just after two o’clock this afternoon and report extensive damage to the aircraft.

50 year old Jeff Larsen was the pilot and 49 year old Tracey Larsen was the passenger. They were both taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Both occupants of the plane are from Mooretown, Ontario and the cause of the crash is not yet determined.
