11:00am- $135 million dollars has been set aside for road construction in Waterloo Region this year. The biggest construction spot to watch out for will be the widening of Ira Needles from Highview drive to just north of University Avenue
Officials say roundabouts along that section will be closed at certain times of the day. Are we doing enough to elp our ailing infrastructure?

11:30am- Cassandra Johnstone, General Manager of IMMIgroup, Re: Kitchener-Waterloo is the fourth worst city to immigrate to in Canada, according to immigration law firm IMMIgroup. Last year we were ranked second due to high rate of police-reported hate crimes, especially in 2009 where the region had the highest rate in the country with 17.9 per 100, 000 people.
