Cambridge Ward 5 Councillor Pam Wolf running for re-election

One Cambridge Councillor is putting her mistakes behind her and seeking a third term in office.

Ward 5 Councillor Pam Wolf faced a conviction for care and control of a vehicle with over 80mg of alcohol in her blood and acquitted of impaired driving and driving with more than the legal limit of alcohol in her system.

She tells 570 News that she hopes to move on from this incident.

“I’ve made a mistake, I’ve paid for the mistake, and most importantly I’ve learned from my mistake. I think I should be judged on my record as a councillor and my work that I’m proposing to do in the future.”

Wolf also admits that she knows this is something that her political opponents will bring up.

“I would hope it is simply in the past…through the support of my constituents I’ve been encouraged to continue to run and support them as I have through the last seven years.”

Wolf plans to continue her work with heritage, the environment and social issues.
