TORONTO – Some of the most active companies traded Friday on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (13,548.85 down 45.34 points):

Colossus Minerals Inc. (TSX:CSI). Miner. Up 1.5 cents, or 30 per cent, to 6.5 cents on 5.47 million shares.

Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Up one cent, or 0.21 per cent, to $4.81 on 3.79 million shares. The gold sector gave up early gains to post a loss of about one per cent even as February bullion gained $13.40 to US$1,238.60 an ounce.

Lundin Mining Corp. (TSX:LUN). Miner. Up one cent, or 0.22 per cent, to $4.64 on 3.19 million shares.

BlackBerry Ltd. (TSX:BB). Wireless communications. Down 12 cents, or 1.46 per cent, to $8.09 on three million shares. The troubled smartphone maker is suing Typo Products, a company co-founded by TV personality Ryan Seacrest, saying that its new iPhone case rips off the famous BlackBerry keyboard.

PMI Gold Corp. (TSX:PMV). Miner. Unchanged at 35 cents on 2.39 million shares.

Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd. (TSX:TRQ). Miner. Down 17 cents, or 4.99 per cent, to $3.24 on 2.38 million shares.

Toronto Venture Exchange (944.71 up 5.50 points):

Africa Hydrocarbons Inc. (TSXV:NFK). Oil and gas. Up three cents, or 24 per cent, to 15.5 cents on 5.19 million shares.

Big North Graphite Corp. (TSXV:NRT. Miner. Up one cent, or 13.33 per cent, to 8.5 cents on 4.22 million shares.
