WINNFIELD, La. – Police in north Louisiana say a 36-year-old man accused of killing the 18-year-old rapper known as Lil Snupe has turned himself in to authorities.

Winnfield Police Chief Johnny Ray Carpenter, in a news release, said Tony Holden turned himself in Tuesday morning.

He was booked into the city jail on charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. No bond has been set. It was not immediately known whether Holden had an attorney.

Police say Holden shot the rapper, whose real name is Addarren Ross, last Thursday after an argument broke out during a video game at a friend’s apartment. Ross, of Jonesboro, had been shot twice in the chest.

Ross had recently signed a recording deal with the Meek Mill’s Dream Chasers label.
